The founder of Shoe Architecture, Andreas Schimkus has a decade of footwear industry experience with deep expertise in complex supply chain processes.
Andreas has managed accounts for flagship European brands. He has applied his precise and unrelenting approach to quality assurance and material safety working with small boutique designers through to high volume clients.
Moving to Australia, Andreas has been engaged as a senior industry advisor to Australia’s textile, clothing and footwear industry for the past two years. In late 2009 Andreas established Shoe Architecture to bring his skills and experience to the Australian market with a fully integrated, technically excellent development and manufacturing studio.
Mike Kim, Technical Director
An essential part of Shoe Architecture, Mike Kim, is a senior technician and footwear professional of nearly 20 years.
Mike has worked in senior development roles across South East Asia.
Now based in Jakarta, Mike manages an established and tested network of suppliers and manufacturers. Mike has extensive experience in supply chain logistics and quality control and strong technical knowledge that spans materials, equipment, machinery and processes.
